It’s pretty rare to find someone who cares about a child’s success as deeply as a parent does. Seeing our child grow in jiu jitsu is such a blessing. Watching her confidence bloom, her skills sharpen, and her passion for the sport deepen has been incredibly rewarding. We are incredibly grateful to have such a supportive and dedicated mentor guiding our child. Thank you for believing in our daughter.Publicado em Mei CaiTrustindex verifica se a fonte original da avaliação é Google. Both my daughters attend the Logic Irwindale location and have been training here for over eight months. They’re on the unlimited class package, which allows up to four classes per week—perfect for building consistency and helping them progress more quickly. I also appreciate how the classes are thoughtfully structured: ages 3–5 and 6–12 are separated, with sessions lasting at least 45 minutes for the younger group and a full hour for the older kids. The instruction is outstanding. Professor Kaori leads each class alongside 2–3 coaches (Coach Lupe, Coach Ian, and Coach B), and the team does a phenomenal job. Every class follows a clear structure: warm-up, technique drills, and then sparring, where the kids practice applying what they’ve learned. What makes it even more effective is that a coach stays with each pair during sparring, offering feedback and guidance in real time. Professor Kaori teaches with patience, energy, and determination, creating an environment where kids feel supported while being challenged. My daughters have not only improved their jiu jitsu skills but also grown in confidence, discipline, and focus.Publicado em Frank BarajasTrustindex verifica se a fonte original da avaliação é Google. My daughter is on her 4th year of doing BJJ. She goes to Logic BJJ Irwindale, lead by Professor Kaori. Her confidence has grown immensely here and we love the format of each class. Professor keeps it fun but structured. The kids look forward to class and competition. Large, clean mat in a large clean gym! We love it!Publicado em Carlos RamirezTrustindex verifica se a fonte original da avaliação é Google. Every now and then I get the opportunity to travel whether it’s for work or vacation, and I’ve had to the opportunity to train at a variety of gyms. Not all leave a memorable impression, but Logic Irwindale has. Both Professor Kaori and her students were super welcoming. Professor Kaori class was structured where it easy to follow and I could catch on to their technique, Professor offered opportunities to drill and experiment with the technique, and provided guidance along the way. At no point, even though I’m the new guy from out of town, did I feel left out. I can only imagine how great their students have it here if this is how they treat visitors like me. I also arrived in early and got to witness their kids class, and can also attest to the culture that is being cultivated here. Both Professor Kaori and Coach Lupe show great dedication to their students so much that it also transfer to the rest of the students that come in and also help the kids grow. All the kids seem excited to be in this class. If you’re looking to get into jiu Jitsu, looking for new home gym to train at or have kids you want to get enrolled, this is the place. If it’s a little bit of a drive, this is honestly a place that’s worth that drive. Thanks to everyone at Logic Jiu Jitsu Irwindale for allowing me to visit.Publicado em Joan ChanTrustindex verifica se a fonte original da avaliação é Google. This BJJ gym is a hidden gem on Arrow Hwy… and we absolutely LOVE it. We drive a little ways to come here but it is always worth every minute. Professor Kaori pours her heart into teaching the kids. You can tell that she cares about each child improving in the way she coaches each child. You can see it in the way she approaches teaching each class. You can see it in the thought behind each of the drills and movements she has the kids do. Each part of the warm ups, drills, etc all build on top of each other, and it is seldom the same thing. She is EXCELLENT at teaching and motivating kids to be their best. My kids love the variety, and I love that they train hard and have fun. My kids know that when we go to this gym, they will work hard but also see the satisfaction of what good work ethic/discipline is. Not a single minute is wasted at this gym (ie. if it isn’t your turn to spar you might be doing burpees on the side for conditioning). There is no goofing around on the mats but that doesn’t mean it isn’t fun. The younger kids play various games that reinforce the technique of the day. Overall the expectation is to train their best but to enjoy it as well. Professor Kaori sets a high standard for the kids, challenges them to be better and they rise to meet that standard. Within two or three sessions here, both of my children improved noticeably - not just skillwise but also in their mental stamina. Instead of teaching one large movement, she breaks it down into small steps. The kids drill that single segment of a movement until it is mastered. The entire movement isn’t pieced together until the end. This is so efficient and much better than trying to imitate and practice one entire move a handful of times. There is precision in the way this is done. Even my four year old has been able to grasp more complicated movements when it has been broken apart like this. In terms of facilities, the gym is clean and spacious. If you have other littles that need to come along, there is even an enclosed play space. There’s ample parking in the front and the back of the gym. All that to say, if you’re wondering if you should come to this gym, you should definitely check it out. It is a fantastic place to train and learn. And if you still have any doubts, just look at how highly accomplished each of her trainees are across the board. The results speak for themselves.
